• Simon MacSorley
  Chair of the Board and Chair of the Remuneration Committee (Foundation Trustee)
  Simon MacSorley

  Simon is an experienced executive and non-executive director with a 40-year career spanning estates, property and facilities management across the education, charity, healthcare and private sectors.

  He was previously Director of Estates at the University of the West of England and has held senior estates and property roles including Director of Estates at Marlborough College, Director of Estates & Facilities at HF Trust Ltd, a national charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, and Group Property Director at Kingston Communications PLC.

  Simon currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Shaw Foundation, a charity that supports innovation in social care, and Sirona care & health, which provides community healthcare services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. He is also Chair of Shaw Healthcare Group.

• Chris White-Horne

  Chris White-Horne

  Chris recently left the Senior Civil Service, where he served as Deputy Chief Executive of the UK Space Agency. An aerospace engineer by background, he has built a distinguished career leading major programmes across international programme delivery, diplomacy and national security.

  Throughout his career, Chris has led some of the UK Government's most complex and high-profile programmes, including the reform of the nation's railway system and the international Typhoon fighter aircraft programme. His experience also includes diplomatic postings in Munich and Washington, DC.

  In 2026, Chris co-founded Hazel Strategic Advisory Ltd with his job-share partner, providing strategic advice and leadership. Alongside this, he is actively involved with youth music charities as a trustee, leader and tutor, using the power of music to improve young people's lives, particularly in disadvantaged communities.

  Chris is also a trombone teacher, the founder and organiser of a music festival, and Musical Director of a swing band.

• Sally Harvey
  Co Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees (Foundation Trustee)
  Sally Harvey

  Sally has over 30 years' experience in education, including more than 20 years in school leadership. She was Headteacher of an Outstanding primary school for 16 years and has extensive experience in school improvement, leadership development and governance.

  As a Local Leader of Education and Interim Headteacher, Sally supported schools across Hampshire, including those facing significant challenges. She has also worked as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Winchester, facilitating NPQ programmes and contributing to teacher training and leadership development.

  Sally has held a number of governance and partnership roles, including Chair of the Local Children's Partnership in Basingstoke and Governor of a Hampshire secondary school, supporting its journey from Requires Improvement to Good. She currently chairs the Board of her local church primary school.

  A passionate advocate for children's rights, Sally is committed to ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

• Andrew Levitt

  Andrew Levitt

  Andrew's early career was as an engineer in the Railway industry before moving

  into IT. He has worked for a number of IT Services organisations including

  Capgemini, with whom he was employed for over 20 years. Andrew has undertaken

  a wide range of operational and client engagement roles and prior to retirement was

  responsible for Capgemini's UK Public Sector business, where he established a

  public sector digital transformation capability. For six years, he ran Capgemini's

  business with HMRC where he led a number of Cabinet Office driven contract re-

  negotiations.

  Since 2017, Andrew was Capgemini UK's Mental Health & Disability sponsor,

  achieving a MIND silver award in early 2018.

• Grace Horton
  Chair of the Finance & Operations Committee
  Grace Horton

  Grace is an experienced senior executive and finance professional with a strong commercial understanding and business focus. She is currently a fractional CFO with a portfolio of SME clients. She has previously worked in various CFO / Finance Director roles in both the public (MOD, HS2, Companies House) and private (Capita Group Plc) sectors. She has a strong focus on developing finance teams to truly partner with the business to provide rigour, improve decision making, ensure value for money and to embed and drive a culture of cost control.

  Grace has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

• Jayne Prior
  Chair of the Education Committee (Foundation Trustee)
  Jayne Prior

  Jayne has worked in education for over 30 years as a teacher, middle leader, teacher educator and leader in higher education. She is currently the University of Bristol PGCE Programme and Partnership Director with responsibility for responding to national and local policy changes and initiatives. Jayne chairs the SW1 Board, a regional body committed to developing Initial Teacher Education in the South West and is also a member of UCET (Universities Council of the Education of Teachers) Secondary Committee. She studied History at the University of Reading, completed a PGCE at the University of Bath and a Master's in Education at the University of Bristol.

• Will Roberts
  Chief Executive of Pathway Trust
  Will Roberts

  Will became Chief Executive of CSET in 2016, having previously served as Headteacher and Executive Headteacher of CSET schools. In 2023, he was seconded part-time to TPLT, working as CEO across both trusts with responsibility for all schools. Following the merger, he is now CEO of Pathway Trust.

• Katie Dominy

  Katie Dominy

  Katie is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) having worked for over 18 years in Human Resources. Operating at a strategic level as Director of People, Development & Governance, she built a career as an HR generalist working in public, private and charity sectors. Katie has a postgraduate diploma in HR Management and Level 7 Advanced Award in Employment Law.

  Katie's roles have required her to create, shape and deliver people strategies focused on aspects such as policies, change management, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and retention, training and development, pay and reward and staff engagement. Since 2022 Katie has developed a focus on volunteering strategies, risk management and corporate governance.

  Christopher McFall

  Chris is Head of Education Business Strategy at Apple leading on developing Apple's education strategy across the UK & Ireland, working with Governments, Executive Leadership organisations and Education Leadership as well as internally developing employees empowering them around Apple's culture. He is an experienced leader with over 20 years' experience in both the commercial and public sector leading high performance teams in sales, strategic planning, business development, organisational culture and development, coaching and mentoring,

  communication and customer service.

  Outside of Apple he serves as a Director for the Association of School and College Leaders on their Professional Development Board.

• Stephanie Cartmel

  Stephanie Cartmel

  Steph has over thirty years' experience in education across England and Wales, working as a Teacher, Headteacher and School Improvement Partner for primary, secondary and specialist settings. She has collaborated with both local and national governments to deliver regional and national improvement initiatives, including CPD programmes and development pathways for teaching assistants. Now based in Somerset, Steph works across England and internationally as an independent Education Consultant, providing executive coaching, training and school improvement services for businesses, schools, and trusts. She has coached and facilitated on NPQ programmes since 2020, including NPQEL, NPQH, and NPQSENCO, and is also a certified School Inspector.
